Transfer north, visiting Drummond Castle Gardens and Blair Castle en route. O’nt Inverness area |

Day trip to Inverewe Gardens, Victorian gardener Osgood Mackenzie’s creation, where, thanks to the benign influence of the Gulf Stream, exotic sub-tropical plants flourish, despite the northerly latitude. Return via Corrieshalloch Gorge, a 200 ft deep box canyon, with views to the Falls of Measach. O’nt Inverness area |

Transfer to Aberdeen, via scenic Speyside. A visit to Glenfiddich Distillery, Dufftown then on to 16th century Crathes Castle, with its remarkable painted ceilings and fabulous gardens, situated near Banchory on Royal Deeside. O’nt Aberdeen |

| Day 8 |
A morning visit to the Duthie Winter Gardens before heading south via the unique walled garden at Edzell Castle. O’nt Edinburgh area |

| Day 9 |
A morning visit to the renowned Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, with afternoon free to explore this historic beautiful and picturesque city, with optional visit to the Castle, perched atop volcanic rock, overlooking Princes Street and the gardens. O’nt Edinburgh area |
